Now—for the first time ever—we’re featuring Keith Haring’s iconic Disney Mickey Mouse artwork in a curated range of apparel that you can make your own.
Throughout his career, Haring produced murals, sculptures and paintings to benefit hospitals, underprivileged children's groups and various community health organizations.
He also loved Disney’s Mickey Mouse. As a boy, he’d dreamed of being a cartoonist just like his idol, Walt Disney. Throughout the 1980s, Disney’s Mickey Mouse was featured prominently in his work, which appeared in the subways, streets and clubs of New York.
Keith Haring believed that art was for everybody. In tribute to his inclusive spirit, we’ve collaborated with Disney on a collection that allows for self-expression. As fans of art, and Keith Haring in particular, we wanted to do something that no other Keith Haring collaboration could do. So we teamed up with our longstanding partner Disney to create this customizable collection—including a build-your-own custom Levi’s® Trucker Jacket—that would showcase the expressive, explosive and playful power of Haring’s iconic Disney Mickey Mouse artwork from the ‘80s.
